MOL Joins Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Committee Meeting No. 2/2022

          On September 6, 2022, at 13.30 hours, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of LabourMs. Bubpha Rueangsud chaired the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Committee Meeting No. 2/2022 via Zoom at the Prof. Nikom Chantravitun meeting room. The meeting acknowledged the progress of drafting the secondary law under the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Act B.E. 2554 and the draft notice by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare on the crane operator training course, signal givers to crane operators, material binders, crane operators, and training to review the work on cranes. It also considered the draft notice by the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare on prescribing pictures of the use of hand signals in communication between operators related to cranes and the notice on the types and methods of notifying the use or cancellation of the boiler that uses liquid as a heat medium, or pressure vessels, and the results of the safety test in the use of radiators or a boiler that uses liquid as a heat medium.
          In addition, the meeting approved the origin and composition of the Provincial Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Committee and the consideration for appointing a subcommittee in replacement for cases where the Provincial Safety, Health and Environment Subcommittee vacates office.
