MOL Joins Opening Ceremony for Investigators and Multi-Disciplinary Teams’ Training to Increase Efficiency of Labour Protection for Migrants and the Prevention of Labour Law Violations Leading to Human Trafficking

          On May 9, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, to participate in the opening ceremony of the training seminar for investigators and multi-disciplinary teams to increase the efficiency of labour protection for migrants and the prevention of labour law violations leading to human trafficking. Assistant Commissioner of the National Police, Pol. Lt. Gen. Torsak Sukwimon, presided over the opening ceremony at Century Park Hotel, Bangkok.

          The training seminar for investigators and multi-disciplinary teams to increase the efficiency of labour protection for migrants and the prevention of labour law violations leading to human trafficking is organized by the Child and Woman Protection, Anti-Human Trafficking, and the Fisheries Sector Center, by the Royal Thai Police. This training was organized for the fifth class between May 8-13, 2022. The participants consisted of investigators and multi-disciplinary teams comprising 120 people.
