On June 16, 2022, at 09.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr.Boonchob Suthamanaswong assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud to join the seminar and exhibition opening ceremony, the Thailand 5G Summit 2022: “The 5G Leader in the Region”. Prime Minister and Defence Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha chaired the opening speech on the 22nd floor of Centara Grand Bangkok Hotel and Convention, Center Central World, Bangkok.
The event was organized by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, with partners in both the public and private sectors. The Global System for Mobile Communications (GSMA) takes place on June 16 and 17, 2022. It is the country’s first major 5G technology event to combine sectors in the ecosystem. The objective is to promote and raise awareness about the application of 5G technology to increase the country’s competitiveness in driving the country’s economy and society towards becoming a leading digital technology investment center in the ASEAN region.
