MOL Meets on Establishment of National Labour Research Center

           On December 7, 2018, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark was chairman of the meeting to determine the guidelines for the establishment of the National Labour Research Center at the Tien Achakul Conference Room on the 10th floor, Department of Employment. The meeting acknowledged research projects of the Ministry of Labour’s units, research projects for the 2019 fiscal year, research projects conducted in the 2017 and 2018 fiscal year, results from a discussion meeting with Chulalongkorn University Advisors to develop information for the National Labour Research Center, the Job Demand Open Platform to support the provision of labour and skills needed to meet the country’s economic, social and labour needs in the future.
           Also, the meeting considered the draft of the National Labour Research Center committee and a research coordination unit, and a draft roadmap for the National Labour Research Center’s (NLRC) operations. Other agendas also included the academic seminar on December 26, 2018, and the Strategic Plan for National Reformation project.
