MOL Meets to Drive Collaboration to Promote Education and Employment for Students and Workers of All Levels in Chiang Mai

         On April 26, 2022, Advisory Board Member to the Minister of Labour, Mr. Natthawat Teeratathamrong, attended the meeting to explain the drive of action to promote education and jobs for students and workers of all levels. The meeting took place at The Empress Chiang Mai Hotel, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province.
         Mr. Nattawat said that the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education, by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Education Minister Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting education and employment for students and workers of all levels on January 19. Both agencies have jointly driven the cooperation following the related missions.
         Mr. Nattawat added that he spoke on behalf of the Ministry of Labour. He said that the Labour Minister had given importance to the Prime Minister’s policy in accelerating professional skills development and promoting employment. He gives importance to human resource development at all ages, especially in the workforce that must develop skills to be in line with the changes in technology to reduce the shortage of knowledgeable, competent, and skilled workers. The efforts aim to develop skills that meet the needs of the labour market in both quantity and quality.
