On July 11, 2022, at 09.30 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, to preside over the merit-making ceremony, offering alms to nine monks and candles, on Asanha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent Day 2022. The Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion to preserve Thai traditions and to strengthen the organizational culture by cultivating the consciousness of personnel with morality leading to development. It also aims to provide opportunities for executives, civil servants, and officials to participate in activities promoting good governance and as a mechanism to promote corruption prevention and misconduct in the performance of government services. The occasion took place in the courtyard in front of the Buddha image and the foyer on the ground floor, Ministry of Labour.
