MOL Organizes “National Skills Standards Day” for 2022

On March 2, 2022, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong presided over the ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on the occasion of the National Skill Standards Day 2022. The occasion took place at the meeting room, on the 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, the Department of Skills Development’s Director-General, Mr. Prateep Songlamyong, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, civil servants and staff also joined the occasion. The event was organized for Thai workers and skilled artisans, including the general public, to realize the value of workers and artisans. The event included a ceremony to pay respect to the royal patronage of the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Father of Thai Craftsmanship. There was an exhibition in honour of His Majesty the King and activities for disseminating information on labour skill standards missions from the Department of Skill Development. The initiative was to honour the wisdom and benevolence of the late King, who saw the value and importance of craftsmanship in the distant future.

After the ceremony paying homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the Assistant to the Labour Minister, along with the executives of the Ministry of Labour, visited the exhibition in honour of the Late King and activities for disseminating information on labour skill standards.
