The Ministry of Labour organized the Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2021 ceremony, awarding three organizations for the best workforce management system for 2021, committed to promoting a good quality of life for their employees. The companies are a model for organizational development and received a royal trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
On September 16, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin presided over the Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2021 ceremony, which took place at the Jompol P. Pibulsongkram meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. Mr. Suchart said the award ceremony was held for the fifth consecutive year to award organizations with the best workforce management system. The award comprises three trophies from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for large, medium, and small enterprises that have been recognized as organizations that are committed to managing their workforce following the standards in all three areas, including the Thai labour standards, employee relations and welfare, and occupational safety, health, and working environment. The award is given to honour such organizations, for the mutual pride by both the employer and employees, for placing importance on improving the quality of life for workers and creating awareness of social responsibility. Such organizations can be role models for other business establishments for further organizational development.
Mr. Suchart said that the three organizations that received the Royal Trophy Award for 2021 were Seafresh Industry PCL for the large-sized enterprise category, Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL Pathio Shrimp Genetic Improvement Center for the medium-sized enterprise category, and Bangkok Screen Co., Ltd., for the small-sized enterprise category.
