MOL Organizes Volunteer Activities With a Vocational Training Unit for the Public on the Occasion of His Majesty The Late King’s Birthday, National Day, and Father’s Day on December 5, 2022

          The Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, reported that on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s birthday, National Day, and National Father’s Day on December 5, 2022. This year, the Ministry of Labour’s Volunteer Spirit Administrative Center supported the Royal Volunteer Activities on “National Father’s Day” between December 3 to 5, 2022, in four areas of Bangkok, in remembrance of His Majesty The Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on the occasion of the National Father’s Day, December 5, 2022.
          Mr. Suchart continued that for the activities, he had assigned agencies under the Ministry of Labour to support activities throughout the three days in all four areas of Bangkok as follows: The first place was at the Residence of the Royal Courtiers in 904 Kiakkai, Dusit District, whereby the Nonthaburi Skill Development Office organized six activities including DIY bag painting, woodworking, mobile phone holder making, decoupage, krajood bag making, DIY, tissue box making and stone ornaments making, and the Bangkok Office of Labour Protection and Welfare Area 8, gave away consumer goods. The second place was at the Tha Tien community in the Tangtrongchit Commercial College of Technology, Phra Nakhon District. The Employment Office Area 5 organized freelance demonstration activities in six branches, including making leather mask straps, carp woven from the skin, dressing fashion sponge shoes, fabric key holders, decorating bohemian style bags, and soy wax aroma candles. The third place was the Don Mueang Technical College in Don Mueang District, whereby the Pathum Thani Skill Development Institute 14, led vocational training demonstration activities with two courses, namely herbal beverage making, and cocktail mixing, to provide services to the public for free. The fourth place was at Wat Pathum Wanaram Rachaworawihan, Pathumwan District, Bangkok. The Employment Office Area 1 organized freelance demonstration activities in six branches, including making woven baskets, crystal mobiles, herbal inhalers, cocoon soaps, clay flowers, and flower arrangements in pots.
          Therefore, the Ministry of Labour invites the public to join the fair and get free career training services available until December 5, 2022, from 8.30 to 16.30 hours. The activities are available in all four areas of Bangkok, including the Residence of the Royal Courtiers in 904 Kiakkai, Dusit District, the Tha Tien Community, in the area of Tangtrongchit Commercial College of Technology, Phra Nakhon District, the Don Mueang Technical College, Don Mueang District and Wat Pathum Wanaram Rachaworawihan, Pathumwan District, Bangkok.
