MOL Presents Plaques, Pins, and Certificates of Honour to Outstanding Labour Volunteers and Graduates in 2024, an Important Mechanism in Delivering Labour Missions to the People in the Area

On September 23, 2024, at 16.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, assigned the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, to chair the ceremony to present plaques, pins, and certificates of honour to outstanding labour volunteers and graduates for the year 2024. The Ministry of Labour’s executives also participated in the event at the Grand Palazzo Room, 7th floor, Palazzo Hotel, Ratchadaphisek Road, Din Daeng District, Bangkok.

The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, said that the Ministry of Labour has a mission to manage the workforce, which is a task that is critical for national development. It is related to dimensions of security, economy, and society. Labour volunteers and networks are important individuals who have roles and duties that serve as a mechanism for the civil society network to drive the missions of the Ministry of Labour. They are individuals who voluntarily benefit society and play an important role in working at the local and community levels. They are volunteers who sacrifice their personal and family time. They are a medium for public relations, disseminating knowledge, giving advice and recommendations on labour and work to people in villages and communities, and promptly informing agencies under the Ministry of Labour of problems that can be resolved quickly.

The Permanent Secretary of Labour continued that today, the award recipients included one outstanding labour volunteer at the national level, 12 at the regional level, 76 at the provincial level, four outstanding labour graduates, and ten outstanding awards for the Ministry of Labour’s Joint Service Centers. The award ceremony was held to honour, morale, and encourage outstanding labour volunteers who have made contributions to society and the Ministry of Labour in helping and coordinating various services for the people in the area/community to achieve continuous success.
