MOL Ranks 2nd in the Country in the ITA 2024 Assessment, Averaging 93.69 Points in Ethics and Transparency Among 21 Ministries

     On August 2, 2024, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, reported that on July 30, 2024, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) announced the results from the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) for the 2024 fiscal year 2024 at the ITA DAY & ITA AWARDS 2024 under the concept of Transparency with Quality. This year, the Ministry of Labour had an average score of 93.69 out of 100, ranking second in the country out of a total of 21 ministries. In the evaluation, the score improved from 2023, when it was ranked fifth. In first place was the Ministry of Industry, which received an evaluation result of 93.85 points. In third place was the Ministry of Finance, which scored 93.29 points.
 
     “The Ministry of Labour’s ranking this year is a result of its determination to perform its duties, especially in solving corruption of all agencies under the Ministry of Labour. It focuses on honesty, transparency, morality, and accountability, as well as building trust and protecting the interests of those involved and stakeholders. This is the pride of the Ministry of Labour’s personnel. I would like to thank all the Ministry of Labour’s personnel who have joined forces to perform their duties with sacrifice, honesty, and integrity while adhering to the benefits of the people and the country,” said Mr. Pairoj.
 
      The announcement of the assessment results of ethics and transparency in the operations of government agencies is held annually. It serves as a mechanism to create awareness for government agencies to operate transparently and ethically and as a measure to prevent corruption. The Ministry of Labour, as a government agency, will continue to focus on solving problems for the benefit of the people and the country.
