On November 18, 2021, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mrs. Tongjai Suthat Na Ayutthaya, received 150,000 masks from Xin Ke Yuan Steel Co., Ltd., led by General Wisit Jangprachak, a company advisor, and Mr. Chen Linfong, Deputy General Manager as representatives. The occasion took place at the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, 7th floor, Ministry of Labour.
Mr. Boonchob said that on behalf of the Ministry of Labour, he thanked the company for seeing the importance of preventing the spread of COVID-19. He said that the Ministry of Labour has many missions that require meeting with people to assist the people in overcoming the crises. He said they could be assured that the goods would be used for the maximum benefit, especially for officers who have to perform their duties interacting with the people.
The company’s advisor, General Wisit Jangprachak, said that due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the company has set up a project to donate masks to various departments, including necessary medical supplies to hospitals. Today, they took the opportunity to provide 150,000 hygienic masks to the Ministry of Labour to carry out their missions and be distributed to the Ministry of Labour’s personnel and various labour groups to join together to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
