MOL Receives 500,000 Hygiene Masks from the Private Sector to Help the People in COVID-19 Prevention

          On April 19, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin received 500,000 N95 masks from Xin Ke Yuan Steel Co., Ltd., represented by Deputy General Manager Mr. Chen Linfong, Company Advisor General Wisit Jangprachak, and Assistant General Manager Mr. Chen Yijie. Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion on the first floor, Ministry of Labour. The donation will be used to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

          Mr. Suchart said that the Ministry of Labour has a mission to take care of the workforce from the COVID-19 pandemic as it continues to be ongoing. It especially focuses on the people who have returned to their home provinces during the Songkran festival. There was a very high risk that the number of infections would rise after the festival was over in the past. In this regard, they thanked the private sector, like Xin Ke Yuan Steel Co., Ltd., for joining forces with the government to fight against COVID-19 by supporting 500,000 N95 masks in donations to the Ministry of Labour. The donated masks will be used to prevent and control the pandemic among the public and workforce who have suffered from COVID-19 as much as possible.
