MOL Receives Award for Organizations Promoting Good, Smart, and Brave People

          On September 15, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mrs. Darunee Nithithaweekul, as a representative from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, to attend the award ceremony for the organizations promoting good, smart, and brave people. Air Chief Marshall Prajin Juntong, Chairman of the Senate Commission on Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, presided over the award ceremony at Meeting Room 402-403, 4th Floor, Parliament Building, Kiakkai, Bangkok.
          This award was presented to organizations that promote good, smart, and brave people. It was organized by the Senate Commission on Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, to recognize organizations and agencies that promote and drive the creation of good, talented, and courageous people, setting an example of the country’s human resource development. Within the Ministry of Labour is the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, and the Social Security Office, which received honorary plaques for organizations promoting good, smart, and brave people. Participants also joined in exhibitions showcasing the agency’s work, such as plaque awarding activities, giving medals of honour, and certificates of honour for outstanding labour volunteers and outstanding labour graduates for 2022. It also showcased the project to develop a model enterprise management system and occupational, safety, and working environment management for ASEAN for 2022. The event awarded outstanding professional workplace safety officers at the national level, and the project honoured those who contributed to the Social Security Office.
