MOL Signs MoC on Public Welfare Information to Cover All Forms of Welfare

            The Ministry of Labour signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on information technology, in support of “Big Data to determine and monitor the welfare of the public sector and implement the Thai People Map and Analytic Platform (TPMAP) for the administration of the land.”

            On December 19, 2018, at 14.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul was assigned by Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark to represent as signatory for the Memorandum of Cooperation on information technology, in support of “Big Data to determine and monitor the welfare of the public sector and implement the Thai People Map and Analytic Platform (TPMAP) for administration of the land”, which took place at the Santi Maitree building at the Government Houses. There were 11 public welfare organizations, including the Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Science and Technology, Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board and the National Health Security Office. Prime Minister, General Prayuth Chan-ocha presided over the signing ceremony. 

            The purpose of the achievement in cooperation is to integrate welfare information among relevant agencies, create a database of recipients of welfare and further explore the needs of various agencies on policies regarding the use of technology in the collection and use of welfare information. Furthermore, other welfare information with be used to form a report and TPMAP system in administration to support the National Strategic Committee, National Strategy Formation Committee and the National Reformation Commission in the implementation and monitoring of national strategies, plans for national reform and plans to make proposals to amend the law and regulations, to achieve goals and make information consistent in the same way.
