Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Singhadet Chu-umnart chaired the meeting on guidelines and measures to alleviate labour-related grievances which involved monitoring local areas to evaluate the projects on alleviation and resolutions for labour-related grievances. He will also discuss with community networks in Trang and Nakhon Si Thammarat provinces from 25-27 July 2017. Starting in Trang on 25 July, he will visit workers who give massages (Wat Tham Khao Pun) in Huai Yot district, then elderly people who weave baskets and handicrafts, including a visit to observe successes of the project for new professional groups in Nong Bua subdistrict, Ratsada district. From 26-27 July, Mr. Singhadet will be in Nakhon Si Thammarat. From initial visits, the projects have been evaluated as a success in bringing in new professions within communities, to help promote employment and income.
