Content Description

On June 17, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong as a representative to welcome Dr. Yuosef Abdullah Al – Humoudi, former Charge d’Affaires of Religion and Culture at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Thailand, at the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s meeting room, 7th floor, Ministry of Labour. Dr. Yuosef wishes to build good relations with the Thai government and private sectors in providing legal services and research in business and labour, which is important for sending Thai workers to work in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Yuosef said he was very pleased with the development of relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia, especially for Thai workers, after both countries have a labour agreement. The Saudi labour market is developing in line with the Saudi Government’s Saudi Vision 2030 for the development of the country, which will require many foreign workers in various professions at different skill levels, including domestic workers. Thai workers are in demand by Saudi Arabia because of their skills and good character. This will help create awareness for companies to know about the potential and skills of Thai workers, providing employment and income to meet the needs of both workers and employers.
