Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti said that Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul sent wishes to the people, government officials and the ministry’s officers to stay safe during the Songkran holiday. The Labour Minister had urged for all travelers to drive safely during the 7 dangerous days and to comply with all traffic regulations to avoid accidents. He also invited road users to visit the Department of Skills Development’s booths which will be stationed along major roads during 11-17 April 2017, which will provide health checks, vehicle maintenance services, snacks and drinks, cold towels and massages. M.L. Puntrik Smiti also urged everyone to keep their social security cards with them to ensure the best care if an accident were to occur.
