On May 17, 2022, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswon, chaired the subcommittee meeting on the study of agreements for those who have rights under the law on social security to use the right to receive public health services under Section 10 no. 1/2022. The meeting acknowledged the results of the working group’s study on establishing a risk insurance fund and the study on the amendment of the law on compensation and tax suspension. They also jointly considered the amendments to the law on compensation payments and tax breaks in the case of receiving retirement compensation. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General Mr. Niyom Songkaew, representatives from agencies under the Ministry of Labour, including representatives from relevant government and the private sector, attended the meeting at the Prof. Nikom Chantravitun meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
