On 4 October 2013, Mrs. Chantana Boon-Arj, Minister Counsellor (labour affairs) along with Mr. Suchart Sangurai, labour specialist were invited to join JITCO FESTIVAL 2013 held at Nippon Keidanren in Tokyo. This event is a general meeting that Japan International Training Cooperation Organization (JITCO) annually held in which there were representatives from Royal Embassy of many countries where sent trainees to be trained in Japan, Foreign Technical Interns Organization and relevant organizations attended.
Last year implementation, and activities relating technical interns acceptance that have been coordinately done were reported such as a coordination in organizing the visiting program in Thailand with Office of Labour Affairs in Japan, promoting employers and foreign technical interns organization to treat their employees lawfully according to Labour Protection Law were reported by officials of Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Labour Public Health and Welfare of Japan. In addition, there was award granting ceremony to technical interns who were selected the composition in Japanses by the committee. Those technical interns who were awarded had a chance to publicly read their compositions on the stage which would promote them Japanese skills and proficiency both in writing, reading and show-off in their expression during living and training in Japan.
