In this regard, Dr. Kriengkrai Kittichaisaeri, Director-General of Thai Trade and Economic Office and Mr. Wu, John Chih-Yang, governor of Taoyuan presided over the ceremony. There were Thai dancing arts such as Thai dancing, Thai performance as well as Thai food cooking show by chef from Thailand. In additioin, honorable guests were also invited to cook somtum, which is superb Thai food amoung Taiwanese.
งานดังกล่าว มี ดร.เกรียงศักดิ์ กิตติชัยเสรี ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่สำนักงานการค้าและเศรษฐกิจไทย และ Mr. Wu, John Chih-Yang ผู้ว่าการเมืองเถาหยวน ร่วมเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด มีการแสดงนาฎศิลป์ไทย ได้แก่ รำไทยและเล่นดนตรีไทย รวมทั้งได้เชิญพ่อครัวจากประเทศไทยมาสาธิตการทำอาหารไทย และได้เชิญชวนแขกผู้มีเกียรติไต้หวันร่วมทำส้มตำ ซึ่งเป็นอาหารไทยจานเด็ดที่ชาวไต้หวันนิยมมาก
