National Skill Standards in Logistics and Supply Chain

          Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti welcomed President of the Thai Logistics and Production Society Mr. Kierttipong Santabut and committee on consultations regarding the pilot of national skills standards assessments in the logistics and supply chain industries for level 5 to 7, in important categories and assessment methodology for transportation. The consultation also discussed a human resource development center specifically for logistics and an information database in support of a Thailand Logistics 4.0. Meeting participants also presented professional standards and human resource development measures in both public and private sector, including students.
          “The Ministry of Labour represented by the Department of Skills Development is ready to support national skills standards assessments in logistics and supply chain, through collaboration with the TLAPS. The efforts will aim to align both parties and drive for strategies to implementation,” said M.L. Puntrik.
