Mrs. Nongnuch Petchcharat, Minister Counsellor (Labour Affairs) of Office of Labour Affairs in Berlin, along with civil servants and officails of Thai team held a ceremony to celebrate His Majesty the king’s 86th birthday anniversary on December 5, 2013, at Ritz Carlton Berlin’s Grand Ballroom. Some 500 foreign diplomats and representatives of private and public agencies in Germany joined the ceremony. There were exibitions about HM the king, Thai-Germany 150-year-diplomatic ties, Thai tourism and demonstration of fruit crafting, garland making and banana leave trays making. The activities drew huge attention from visitors. On December 8, 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin also held such a cermony at Best Western Hotel Berlin for Thai people in Germany to celebrate HM the king’s 86th birthday anniversary.
