Mrs. Jarunee Nakornsree, Counselor (Labour), opened a Cantonese Course for 1st batch student to enroll on 6 January 2011. The Course is part of the Skill Upgrading Program for Thai Housemaid in Hong Kong. Students will be educated by the Thai Regional Alliance Hong Kong. The Course aims to offer a short Cantonese lesson to improve Cantonese ability of new-arrival Thai housemaids and Thai housemaids who have a minimal understand of Cantonese so that they can use it in daily life and to communicate with their employer. Office of Labour Affairs in Hong Kong will offer 4 Cantonese Courses altogether.
