On Sunday 17 March, 2013, Ms. Kwanta Mongkornrtana, Minister Counsellor (Labour Affairs), and officials from Office of Labour Affairs in Kaoshiung attended the annual futsal tournament of Thai workers at yanchao high school, yanchao district, in Taiwan.
The competition was organized by a local steel industry, which sees the importance of helping workers use their free-time in a productive and creative way.
Such the activity would help them stay away from drugs and relax from work.
It is also part of the efforts of Office of Labour Affairs in Kaoshiung in helping Thai workers stay away from drugs. Office of Labour Affairs in Kaoshiung also holds similar activities on important holiday such as the Labour Day and the Thai Father Day.
