The election was held Grimmill Industrial (M) Sdn. Bhd., a readymade cloth export company. On the polling day, many Thai people including Thai workers, who live in Batu Pahat and neighboring towns turned out to exercise their right. Three election commissioners and staffs came to observe the election.
