Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia is going to organize activities to promote the expansion of Thai labour market opportunity in Malaysia. In this regard, the activities presenting of Thai occupation attribute will be held aiming to promote the recognition and acknowledgement among Malaysian employers and people as well as fostering good image of Thai labour through each occupation that reflects art and cultural meanings. Therefore, the demonstration of Thai occupation will be presented in 2 categories listed below;
Thai Cooking, under the slogan of “Thai food…Thai Chef”, the demonstration will focus on Thai cuisine/traditional dessert and fruit and vegetable carving as well as providing document relevant to the information of Thai seasoning and spices.
Thai massage, the demonstration of an accurate Thai massage will be presented by they trained therapists who passed the skill standard test from Thailand. In addition, the demonstration booth will be decorated under the concept of Thai art and the document relevant to the information of Thai massage history and its attribute are also available to pick up. This aims to promote the recognition of the art of Thai massage that is one part of inherit cultures and most importantly, to generate good image of Thai massage as well as raising the acknowledgement among Malaysian people.
Besides, Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia will allocate its officials to provide information and suggestion services toward the official employment of Thai labour to the employers and interested persons who are willing to employ Thai labour.
All above activities will be organized in the event of Thailand Trade Show 2011 by the cooperation of the Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia, the Royal Thai Embassy at Kuala Lumpur, Office of Trade and Investment, and Tourism Authority of Thailand. In this regard, the Thailand Trade Show 2011 will be held during 5-7 August, 2011 at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur. In addition, the event has been consecutively organized for more than 3 years which was popular among Malaysian people that entered the event not less than 30,000 people each year.
