Office of Labour Affairs in Singapore organized the 10th Labour Football Cup between 4 July-1 August 2010 with an aim to promote Thai workers working in Singapore to spend their free time with doing exercise for getting healthy, strong and sporty. It is also to create the harmony among Thai workers.
This 2010 competition had 15 participating football teams who mostly represented the companies where Thai workers working at. There were 300 football players joined the competition. This 2010 competition took 5 weeks and 32 matches, the first round began on 4 July until the semifinal on 1 August 2010. There were approximately 150 Thai workers and Thais in Singapore visited the competition in each match and 300 people visited the semifinal match.
The semifinal match on 1 August 2010 was held at Farrer Park Football Field, presided over and granted awards to the winner by Mr. Manachai Patchanee (Thai Ambassador to Singapore).
