1) Publicize to boost understanding of job seekers who wish to work in Singapore on compulsory to pass SEC(K) and CoreTrade tests and necessary to pass Multi-Skilled test.

 

1) Publicize to boost understanding of job seekers who wish to work in Singapore on compulsory to pass SEC(K) and CoreTrade tests and necessary to pass Multi-Skilled test.

2) Coordinate skill development training for Thai workers to help improve skills of Thai workers in high demand positions such as welder, composer and chef.

3) Clarify and recommend Thai workers who have passed SEC(K) and CoreTrade tests about working in Singapore.

4) Register job-seekers who wish to work in Singapore for direct contact with employers

5) Update data on firms in Singapore that have employed Thai workers

6) Instruct skill training providers and agencies to certify standard for each occupation to allow experienced workers to measure their competency, especially those in cooking sector.

7) Assist Thai workers who encounter problems in Singapore through coordination with public and private agencies.

8) Hold activities with the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, labour volunteers, student associations to assist Thai workers and provide them recommendation on work.

9) Via Ruam Duay Chuay Kan programme, assist Thai workers in undertaking test to upgrade them into higher skilled workers. Arrange past tests and those who have sit the test to assist workers who fail the test.
