On 24 August 2012, Mrs. Ratiwan Suntara, Minister Counselor (labour affairs), Miss Pimpaporn Tityanan participated with representatives of Labour Division of New Taipei City and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to prepare arranging 2nd Thai ball game New Taipei City Cup.
The committee agreed to arrange the final round of Thai ball game on 21 September 2011 at Keeda field, Sinjhuang and qualifying round on 15 and 16 September 2012 at stadium in Sulin. There will be not more than 32 teams of rival participating dividing into 24 teams from Thailand and 8 team from Taiwan. The final round will be held on 21 September 2012. In addition, there will also be cultural and sport activities.
Regarding the awards, the winner will be granted TWD 30,000, the first runner-up will be granted TWD 25,000, the second runner-up will be TWD granted 10,000 and the third runner-up will be granted TWD 8,000.
สำหรับเงินรางวัล ทีมชนะเลิศจะได้รับเงินรางวัล 30,000 เหรียญไต้หวัน รองชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 1 ได้รับเงินรางวัล 25,000 เหรียญไต้หวัน รองชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 2 ได้รับเงินรางวัล 10,000 เหรียญไต้หวัน และรองชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 3 ได้รับเงินรางวัล 8,000 เหรียญไต้หวัน
