Labor and employers’ representatives arrived at a consensus to raise the monthly minimum wage by NT$735 to reach NT$20,008 or 3.81-percent hike, while the minimum hourly wages will be raised from NT$115 to NT$120, effective 1 July 2015.
About 1.5 million local workers could benefit from this change. Besides, the employer shall increase 735 $NT and 130 $NT per month of health insurance and labour insurance. For hourly wage rate will be increased from 115$NT to 120 $NT which benefit to 449,700 temporary workers.
