President Ma Ying-jeou gave the interview after went to pay a homage at Jue Nan Kong joss house in Taipei with Mr. Hao Linping, Taipei governor for a bless of nation and people on 9th of first month in the calendar which is the birth date of Jade Emperor Tee gong according to Taiwanese tradition. The president said in the last 6 years Taiwan’s achievements were not inferior to the 4 leading countries in Asia. He therefore asked all sides to keep up fighting for Taiwan economy and believed that it would be better than last year.
The president further said that basic conditions of Taiwan same as the other countries but only cooperation would lead country success. This year is a year of horse which is a sign of enthusiastic, and deftness. So he expects all sides would cooperate in developing Taiwan economy.
