On 3 March 2011, Office of Labour Affairs in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) assigned Mr. Chaiyot Yousub, Minister Counselor (Labour), Mr. Med Mamin, Interpreter, and Mr. Prasat Sorndang, Third Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy at Riyadh to help evacuate Thai workers in Cairo, Egypt rapidly. In addition, MOL and Ministry of Foreign Affairs have commended officials of each Royal Thai Embassies located near the frontier of Libya and those of nearby embassy to collaboratively provide the assistance and it is expected that this teamwork could help new entrant Thai workers and the remaining groups in Libya return to Thailand.
