On Friday the 14th of November 2014, the Office of Labour in Singapore collaborated with the Consular Section to visit workers at the Westlite Dormitory (Mundai) which contains approximately 100 workers. The Office of Labuour distributed brochures about different laws and legislation in Singapore, manuals on tax repayments, manuals on employment contracts and initial physical examinations including blood pressure, as well as announcing the project of having a workforce of the 5 commandments. They invited workers to follow the five commandments in honour to His Majesty the King. The Consular section had provided information on the different services offered by the Consular. In addition to this, the Office of Labour in Singapore and the Consular arranged food and drinks to service the workers as well as sporting equipment, bags and shirts for distribution.
