The Department of Labour in Taijong, Taiwan stated that Taijong has over 70,000 foreign workers residing in the area and holds the third largest population of foreign workers in Taiwan. As for the information reported, it included messages such as homeworkers only having the responsibility to look after people in the home and thus are not responsible for other irrelevant tasks such as car washing, pet care or cleaning the work area which would be considered as a violation of regulations. Foreign workers should only do what their working positions entitle.
