On September 18, 2024, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, to represent the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, in receiving the Excellent State Award in category four on analysis of organizational performance and knowledge management, organized by the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC). Civil Service Commission member Mr. Maitri Inthusut presented the award. Directors of offices, centers, divisions, working groups, and officials of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour also joined in congratulating them on this occasion at the Challenger Building, Impact Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.
Mr. Samat said that today, the Permanent Secretary of Labour assigned him to represent the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour in receiving the Excellent State Award in category four on analysis of organizational performance and knowledge management, organized by the OCSC. This award is given to agencies that focus on developing excellence in the quality of public administration management, emphasizing efficient and effective organizational management, outstanding performance, and excellent practices, resulting in outcomes that create value for service recipients and stakeholders.
Mr. Samat continued that the outstanding achievements of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour include the development of a system to enhance the potential of big data analysis in labour, assistance for Thai workers in Israel, and the development of a standard operating procedure (SOP) for initial screening of forced labour. In addition, the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour has set guidelines for future work development that will increase the efficiency of organizational management and create value for stakeholders in three clear areas: service development by pushing for the draft of the Independent Labour Promotion and Protection Act B.E. … to come into effect; development of specialized personnel, including researchers, human trafficking prevention and suppression specialists, and international negotiators of the tripartite representatives; and information technology development, such as the A-lat forced labour screening system, the independent labour management system, and the MOL Big Data system.
