Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia arranged the activity to promote and expand Thai labour market in field of Thai chief with an aim to promote and publicize occupations of Thai people to employers and Malaysian people as well as to build image of Thai workers in sense of Thai culture in occupations to be widely recognized by arranging the activity demonstrating cooking Thai food/Thai dessert and fruit carving as well as distributing leaflet to publicize the benefits of Thai spices and seasoning under the key slogan “Thai Food…Thai Chef”.
In addition, Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia assigned the officers to provide information and advice concerning the legal employment of Thai workers to the employers and those who want to hire Thai workers.
This activity was held in Thailand Trade Show 2011 between 5-7 August 2011 at Mid Valley Megamall, Hall 1, Kuala Lumpur with a collaboration of Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and Trade and Investment Office, Tourism Office of Thailand and Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia. There were a huge number of interested people join the activity and inquire information all the time.
