On Sunday 8th March 2012, officers of Office of Labour Affairs in Singapore visited Singapore Sports Hub Dormitory, located in site of Singapore Sports Hub Project of Dragages Singapore Company. There are presently 2,300 foreign workers live in, 1,130 of them are Thai workers. Those workers live with free of charge as it is the facility provided by employer under the stadium construction project.
Office of Labour Affairs in Singapore brought local physicians to give an advice to those Thai workers who get sick and distributed brochures to publish missions of the office and handbooks on claiming compensation, tax refund, as well as delivered sport gears and nostrum to Thai workers.
