On 9 January 2017 at 14.30, Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti visited the training on logistical management at the Chiang Saen Institute of Development and was welcomed by the Department of Skills Development’s Director-General Mr. Teerapol Koonmuang. The institute is a collaborative project amongst the Greater Mekong Sub-Region (China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand). The institute was established to promote and support economic, trade, investment, tourism, human resource development and environmental growth in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region.
