On January 11, 2025, at 08.45 hours, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, and Mrs. Thiamkhae Thapchaiyut, President of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association, presided over the ceremony to award educational scholarships provided by the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association for 2025. Twelve scholarships were awarded to children of civil servants, permanent employees, and government officials under the Ministry of Labour on the occasion of National Children’s Day 2025. Ms. Bunyawee Khaipan, Vice President of the Association, Ms. Kanchana Poolkaew, Vice President of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association, Ms. Nanthinee Sapsiri, Vice President of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association, Ms. Kornjirat Phongchanthorn, Assistant to the President of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association, Mr. Sakdinart Sonthisakyotin, Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Jirawan Sutsunthon, Assistant to the President of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association, along with the association’s honourary committee members, witnessed the event at the lobby on the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour’s building.
The objective of the event is to build morale and compassion for the lives of civil servants and low-income employees of the Ministry of Labour. The association has a policy to provide support to such employees, and the initiative has been continuously carried out every year since 1997. In addition, the criteria for granting scholarships have been set and adjusted to be consistent with the current context.
