On August 5, 2024, at 15.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, chaired the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour Meeting No. 5/2024. Senior executives and agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour in central, regional, and international areas attended the meeting, which took place at the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour, and online.
In this meeting, the agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour reported the performance results for the 2024 fiscal year, nine months (October 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024), the budget expenditure results of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, for the 2024 fiscal year (October 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024), the labour situation and trends report for July 2024, the regional performance report by the provincial labour offices of Mukdahan, Nakhon Pathom, Songkhla, and Khon Kaen, the performance report on findings of the Thai labour markets abroad, the installation of entry and exit cards in the area of the Ministry of Labour, and the results of the 112th Session of the International Labour Organization.
In this regard, the Permanent Secretary of Labour urged all agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour to accelerate the implementation of the work and propose operational ideas that benefit the organization so that the implementation of the Ministry of Labour’s policies is in line with the government’s policies and of maximum benefit to the people.
