On September 9, 2024, at 09.30 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, chaired the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour Meeting no. 6/2024, attended by senior executives and agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, in both central, regional and international levels. The occasion took place at the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour Building and online.
In this meeting, the agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour reported the results of operations for the 2024 fiscal year of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour for 11 months (October 2023 to August 2024). It reported on budget expenditures of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour for the 2024 fiscal year (October 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024), the labour situation and trends for August 2024, on regional operations by provincial labour offices in Kanchanaburi, Mae Hong Son, and Ang Thong, and on the results of operations in sourcing Thai labour markets abroad.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour urged all agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour to accelerate the implementation of the work and propose operational ideas that are beneficial to the organization, aligning the Ministry of Labour’s policies to the government’s policies to be of maximum benefit to the people.
