Permanent Secretary of Labour Commences “Labour Eyes” Project Batch 2 to Create Participation of Networks to Prevent Corruption in All Forms

On August 19, 2024, at 09.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, chaired the opening ceremony of the project to support and create participation of network partners in fighting corruption, “Labour Eyes” for the 2024  fiscal year. He also led the declaration of intent against corruption, which took place at the Varanda Room, 4th floor, Baan Thai Boutique Hotel, Bangkok. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, Academic Labour Advisor, Mrs. Napasorn Toongsooksai, the Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Kornjirat Phongchansathorn, the Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Sakdinart Sonthisakyotin, civil servants, provincial labour officer, labour volunteers and civil society networks in the northeastern region from 20 provinces joined the occasion, totaling 80 people, who are trainees and officers of the Ministry of Labour’s Anti-Corruption Operations Center, joined in giving a welcome.
 
The project aims to support and create the network’s participation in the fight against corruption. “Labour Eyes”  was organized this time by the Ministry of Labour’s Anti-Corruption Operation Center to develop mechanisms and processes to prevent corruption effectively, promoting public participation and labour volunteers’ participation as a network to monitor at the local level and prevent opportunities for corruption. This time, the participants in the training consisted of civil servants/officials of the provincial labour office, labour volunteers, and civil society networks in the northeastern region.
