On May 27, 2024, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien and the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-Generals, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, joined the delegation of the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn to meet the Minister of Labour of Israel, Mr. Yoav Ben Tzur, to discuss a request of cooperation to increase care and protection for Thai workers working in green areas, and ensure that Thai workers receive benefits as required by law. They also discussed expanding branches for Thai workers to work in other fields, especially the service sector, restaurant staff, and hospitality, which are areas in which Thai people have expertise and outstanding potential. The occasion took place at the Jerusalem Government Center.
