Permanent Secretary of Labour Joins Labour Minister’s Team to Send Relief Bags to Help Flood Victims

Content Description

On September 16, 2024, at 15.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, participated in delivering 1,000 relief bags to help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province. The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, chaired the delivery of relief bags, and senior executives from the Ministry of Labour joined the event in the lobby on the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour.

The delivery of the relief bags is a result of cooperation between agencies under the Ministry of Labour and the private sector, which have jointly provided consumer goods to be packed in relief bags to help flood victims. All relief bags will be transported by a 6-wheel truck from the Social Security Office to the Ministry of Labour in the Chiang Rai Government Center for agencies under the Ministry of Labour to help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province. The Ministry of Labour has collaborated with a network of private-sector businesses to deliver the first batch of consumer goods, rice, dried food, and medical supplies. The second and third batches will then be delivered to help flood victims.
