Permanent Secretary of Labour Joins Meeting of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour. No. 2/2022

          On March 15, 2022, at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, chaired the meeting of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour No. 2/2022 at the Prasong Rananant Conference Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting followed up on the progress of the MOU to send Thai workers to work in Saudi Arabia and push the draft Quality of Life Development and Protection Promotion for Informal Workers Act B.E. The meeting also discussed projects and activities in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’s 90th birthday on august 12, 2022, and progress in Big Data operations.
          In addition, the meeting acknowledged reports on operating results and expenditures for the 2022 fiscal year of the Office of the Permanent Secretary for the fifth round (October 2021 – February 2022). It also acknowledged the report on the labour situation and trends for January 2022, the Annual Budget Calendar 2023, and the report on training and visiting the Volunteer School Training 904. Additionally, the meeting covered the assessment results of the Government Management 4.0 Quality Award for 2022 and guidelines for organizing activities to honor His Majesty the King’s coronation anniversary on May 4, 2022.
          The Permanent Secretary of Labour also emphasized that all government officials and staff strictly adhere to the Ministry of Public Health’s “Covid Level 4” control measures.
