Permanent Secretary of Labour Joins Opening of THAILAND SAFE@WORK#36

     On June 19, 2024, at 09.30 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, joined in the opening ceremony of the THAILAND SAFE@WORK#36 event. The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, commenced the event. Mr. Amnuay Phurahong, serving as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Thailand Institute Of Occupational Safety And Health (Public Organization) reported on the objectives of the event. The Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson, Mr. Phumiphat Mueanchan, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Nantachai Panyasurarit, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mrs. Marasri Jairangsi, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the occasion at the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. 
 
     On this occasion, the Labour Minister presented plaques to the sponsors of the event, awarding a plaque of honour for the campaign to reduce occupational accident statistics to zero in the year 2024, platinum level, to 56 business establishments. He awarded a plaque of honour for the project to develop business establishments according to the occupational health, safety, and working environment in the 2023 fiscal year, platinum level, to 23 business establishments and awarded activities under the project to cultivate personnel and develop innovations in occupational health, safety, and working environment for 2024, totaling six awards.
 
     They also visited exhibitions of agencies under the Ministry of Labour and establishments regarding safety within the event. The THAILAND SAFE@WORK#36 is held between June 19 to 21, 2024, from 09.00 to 18.00 hours. The event was organized by the Thailand Institute Of Occupational Safety And Health (Public Organization) or TOSH, together with the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, the Social Security Office, the Department of Disease Control, and the Association for the Promotion of Safety and Health at Work (Thailand) under the Royal Patronage under the theme of “A Safe Thai Society, Driving the Thai Economy Toward Sustainability.”
