On March 16, 2022, at 10.00 hours, Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Police General Dr. Thammasak Wicharaya, chaired the meeting of the Prevention of Forced Labour and Human Trafficking Subcommittee No. 1/2022. Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, also joined the occasion. The meeting considered the following: the draft of a manual on the “Standards Operating Procedures (SOP) on Preliminary Screening for Indications/Behaviour of Possible Victims of Forced Labour or Services, and Human Trafficking” under the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act B.E. 2551 and amended Section 6/1, and draft regulations for the Coordinating and Supervising Committee on the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Action Plan and Guidelines for Screening, Sorting, Assisting and Protecting the Welfare of Persons Who May Be Victims of Human Trafficking, Forced Labour or Child Labour in Worst Forms B.E. … The meeting took place at the Prof. Nikom Chandravithu meeting room, 5th floor, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour.
