Permanent Secretary of Labour Joins Runway for the International Thai Silk Fashion Week

          On December 6, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, joined the walkway for the 3rd International Thai Silk Fashion Week 2022. The Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Wissanu Krea-ngam, presided over the opening of the 3rd International Thai Silk Fashion Week 2022 to promote the development of the wisdom of Thai fabric. The event took place at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon Shopping Center, Pathumwan District, Bangkok.
          The event was organized by the Organizing Committee in Honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday on August 12, 2022, in the name of the government. The activities invited leading international designers to design and sew national costumes or contemporary costumes using silk from the Foundation for the Promotion of Arts and Crafts under Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The event presented silk dresses in fashion shows and fairs and sold silk products from businesses across the country. The event will be held for five days, from December 7 to 11, 2022, at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon Shopping Center. There will be 25 rounds of fashion shows each day. There are spaces for selling silk products, exhibitions, and professional demonstrations from various agencies.
