Today (18 September 2017) at 14.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti witnessed the signing of the second version of the Memorandum of Understanding on preparing the workforce upon pre-entry into the labour market, signed between Director of the Department of employment Mr. Woranont Pitiwan and Advisor to the Office of the Basic Education Commission Mrs. Supaporn Kittiratchadanon. The MOU intends to align operations with policies by the Committee for National Administration under the Framework of National Reform, Strategy and Reconciliation which assigned the Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Education to work together on professional advisory services for primary school students to promote preparation on entering the workforce. The event took place at the Tien Achakul Conference Room on the Department of Skills Development’s tenth floor.
